Andrea and Fabio Fustinoni’s passion for collecting blossomed around an interest in 1950s design, but in 1994 their interest turned to contemporary art. They first piece was a sculpture by Ettore Spalletti, they then started buying photography and video and later moved on to other media. Among the names in their collection are Massimo Bertolini, Francesco Gennari, Karin Gulbran, Renato Leotta, Tomas Saraceno, Alvaro Urbano, Marc Bauer and Luca Vitone. In 2013 their private collection also entered hotel spaces. From 2021 they published annually the collection’s catalog, which presents their latest acquisitions and site-specific projects, such as a suite dedicated to Italian design, with Gio Ponti and Citterio in dialogue with Eileen Quinlan.
