My Abstract World

Over the last thirty years, avid collector Thomas Olbricht has amassed numerous works of abstract art in a wide variety of styles and media.

During this year’s Berlin Art Week, a selection of abstract works from Thomas Olbricht’ collection will be brought together in the exhibition “My Abstract World” at the me Collectors Room, Berlin.

The show will include more than 350 works by ninety different artists featuring names such as John M. Armleder, Jo Baer, Max Bill, André Butzer, Katharina Grosse, Imi Knoebel, Sarah Morris, David Ostrowski, Sigmar Polke, Gerhard Richter, Sterling Ruby, Rosemarie Trockel and Heimo Zobernig, among others. In this IC online exhibition, Olbricht shares with us an exclusive preview of some of his favorite pieces in the show.
