Offering a bright perspective of young contemporary art, the currently privately used loft in Kreuzberg is dominated by innovative works of art that have an emphasis on conceptual, installation and new media.
Concept is what connects all the works of art collected by Michael Kuhn and his wife Alexandra Rockelmann. Names, prestige and future price development do not count. Each work, however, must satisfy one form of the high standards that we set – it has to be a symbol of a thought which has been considered for a long time. Like a good fortune cookie phrase which you reinterpret according to your current life situation. Some of the artists featured in the Kuhn Collection are: Yasmin Alt, Joseph Beuys, Sebastin Biskup, Thomas Demand, Max Frey, Kai Franz, Günther Förg, Johanna Jaeger, Florian Japp, Jeffrey Teuton, Leslie Thornton and many more.
Michael Kuhn lives with his wife Alexandra Rockelmann, their two children, and their dog in the loft apartment in Berlin Kreuzberg. The currently privately used loft will be converted into a pure art collectionin February 2017.
