Why Am I Actually German?
The exhibition from Kiel's Haus N Collection and Sammlung FIEDE were on display at the Kunstverein Wiesen.

“Why Am I Actually German” is the new exhibition from Kiel’s Haus N Collection and sammlung FIEDE on display at the Kunstverein Wiesen that raises questions that concern the German nationality – be it banal or profoundly.
Curated by Ruben Schuster, “Why Am I Actually German” addresses the question of nationality by focusing on a selection of works from two private German collections, sammlung FIEDE and Haus N Collection, to ask to which extent does our nationality affect our identity?
In a time where nationality is not only constantly questioned but also at the same time losing its significance, Schuster looks what being German means to him and the German society as a whole.
The exhibition “Why Am I Actually German” is an initiative of “Medium Cooperation – Mittlere Zusammenarbeit” – a project by Haus N Collection, Kiel.
