Independent Collectors

A Portrait of My Soul

For over two decades Vittorio Gaddi has been focusing on collecting international contemporary art as well as supporting emerging art and artists.

What began with the purchase of a sculpture by Italian artist Gió Pomodoro has now turned into a collection made up of around 350 works, featuring artists such as Olafur Eliasson, Carsten Höller, Danh Vo and Thomas Ruff. Focusing more on the artists’ contemporaneity than on the specific styles or genre, the Tuscan collector has built up one of Italy’s leading collections in contemporary practice. Here, we exhibit a small selection from the ever-growing collection of the Collezione Nunzia e Vittorio Gaddi.
