Go Figure / Alec Soth
This summer, the Pizzuti Collection will feature two exhibitions featuring works taken from the private collection of Ron and Ann Pizzuti.

Whilst the Pizzuti Collection may only be celebrating its fifth birthday this year, its 2 000 work-strong private collection that features a diverse range of contemporary artists spanning from the established to the emerging certainly makes up for its years, and this year’s summer program is an outstanding display of the works that are included.
The first show of the season is “GO FIGURE” (until August 12th 2018), an exhibition that investigates the human form in both a tender and provocative approach. Offering an array of perspectives on how we look at not just ourselves, but each other, as well as the interpretation of bodily forms, “GO FIGURE” refuses to look away from these fundamental discussions that surround our culture and impact our daily existence. Featuring thirty-six paintings, photographs, collages, drawings, and sculptures from both mid-career masters and emerging artists such as Nicole Eisenman, Alison Zuckerman, Deana Lawson and Omar Victor Diop. In addition, “GO FIGURE” includes new acquisitions to the collection with works from Nathaniel Mary Quinn and Deborah Roberts. Derrick Adams returns with five new acquisitions as well
Also included in the summer program is the solo exhibition from the American photographer, Alec Soth (until August 12 2018). Consisting of twenty-seven works from over four major series including: “Sleeping by the Mississippi”, “NIAGARA”, “Broken Manual”, and “Songbook”, the show will highlight Soth’s journey into documenting the peculiarities of life.
Here, we present works and installation views from both exhibitions shown at the Pizzuti Collection.
