Judith Neilso’s collection is located in an old factory in Sydney’s industrial district.
Inspired by the Chinese contemporary art Judith Neilson encountered on a trip to Beijing in 2001, the Australian collector founded White Rabbit – a contemporary art space with a focus on contemporary art from China and Taiwan.
Since its opening in 2009, the space exhibits Neilson’s extensive collection, which by early 2016 included almost 2 000 works by more than 500 artists. White Rabbit is located in an old factory in Sydney’s industrial district, which provides enough space to present a variety of different media such as sculpture, installation, photography, paintings and drawings.
